Travel and transport in Newham

Situated just three miles from the City of London, Newham is one of London's most well connected boroughs.

Whether your journey's taking you into or out of town or you're arriving from or heading off to foreign climes, you'll find it both easy and quick to get around.

Newham is London's only inner city borough that boasts both its own airport and is also home to a free passenger ferry whose history dates back more than a thousand years.

Close to the City, West End and Docklands but still outside the Congestion Charging Zone, commuting into town from one of Newham's stations may be a quicker and cheaper travel option.
