Newham has a wealth of great locations to offer film makers

The site offers property owners the chance to earn some money by offering their properties as potential sites for use by TV or film companies. Private residential properties can earn up to £500 per day, while industrial and commercial properties can command much more.

A ‘wish list' function enables location-hunters to compile and email lots of locations quickly and easily. There is also an e-form that conveniently manages the filming application and licensing process.

Mayor of Newham, Sir Robin Wales, said: "The launch of this unique standalone website will enable the film office to help even more filmmakers find the dream location they're looking for.
"Filming in the borough has a direct beneficial effect on the local economy and the website also gives residents a unique opportunity to offer their own homes and businesses as locations with the full support of the film office."

The council regularly sources filming locations for production companies and studios.
