The Big Draw comes to Stratford Station

The Big Draw 2008 came to Stratford Station on 11 October, when artist Michelle Williams joined forces with the Architecture Crew, a group of young people aged between 13 - 19 years, to create a striking large-scale drawing of the city skyline for Stratford station's mezzanine.

Assuming the role of city planners the Crew created an artwork which reflects their vision of, and for, their city.

Developed in collaboration with Fundamental Architectural Inclusion, this project is part of Art on the Underground's programme, which is delivering a series of contemporary art commissions in Stratford that have individuals and communities at their heart, In the lead up to the 2012 Games.
