Newham is undergoing the most exciting social and environmental transformations the East End has seen. The aim is to restore it to its historical position as a centre for trade and commerce and to encourage more people to benefit from the social and leisure opportunities on offer. That's the vision. Come and see it for yourself.

The 3 hour tour is free and departs from East Ham Town Hall every Thursday at 10am.

West Ham players in England's World Cup victory

Champions Sculpture

England's World Cup statue immortalises the team's 1966 victory. It depicts Sir Geoff Hurst, Martin Peters and Ray Wilson holding aloft the former captain of England Bobby Moore, as he proudly shows off the famous World Cup trophy.
