Walk Leaders Wanted

We need more volunteers to help us lead our walks and add new walks to the area!

Why not train to become a walk leader in Newham?

Do you love walking? Enjoy good company and conversation? Want to meet new people? Want to increase your fitness and stamina? Have good local knowledge? Want to help your local community?

If you answered yes to any of these questions and are aged 18 or over, then why not train as a walk leader in your local area.

Volunteers are supported by Newham Striders. Free training will be provided.

Training dates

Wednesday 22 April
Thursday 14 May
Thursday 28 May
Thursday 25 June

To qualify as a walk leader you must be aged 18 or over. Children aged 12 and over can be trained as assistant walk leaders but must be supervised by an adult walk leader.
