Jesa's volunteering experience has enabled him to put together a great CV detailing his first aid qualification; experience as an Olympic Games Volunteer Ambassador and his experience managing volunteers at a variety of events including the British Motor Show, the Stroke Association Thames Bike Ride and the BBC Spring Watch Event.
Volunteering significantly strengthens your CV and improves your chances of employment. Newham's Volunteers is a dynamic initiative which gives volunteers the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at a range of events from the Mayor's Town show to the London Triathlon.
Jesa's experience has led to interest from KLM at London City Airport and from Newham Council's Library Services. The next step in his search for a job is a visit to Stratford's Workplace to polish his interview techniques and ultimately find a job.
