Tim Goodard took this photo in Star Park, Canning Town. It is his favourite place in Newham which he describes as an island of green that always presents an "oasis of peace, calm and tranquillity".

What are your dreams and ambitions for 2012?

On 24 August 2008 the Beijing Olympic Games came to a close. The eyes of the world are now on London - and Newham - as hosts of the next summer Olympic Games. To mark the occasion films have been produced starring Newham people performing Olympic-inspired feats and reflecting on their dreams and ambitions for 2012.
