As the development overlooks the site of the 2012 Olympic Games to celebrate the occasion L&Q and Tower Homes invited prospective buyers and local residents to take part in a ‘Test your talent with Tessa' event on the communal roof terrace with Tessa Sanderson and the Newham Sports Academy.

The development includes 49 one and two bedroom apartments available through Tower Homes part buy, part rent scheme, available to local residents and key workers. For more information on the development please call the sales team on 020 8294 5018 or view the development's website www.stratfordeye.com.

Tower Homes has become the first official friend of the ‘Friends of the Academy', through sponsoring one of the Newham Sports Academy athletes. The academy helps talented young people from the local area to reach their full potential through sport. They are provided with access to elite coaches, support from mentors and sports psychologists and access to cutting edge sports science advice on diet, training and technique is also offered.

Steve Nunn, Managing Director of Tower Homes "L&Q and Tower have developed these properties with the aim of providing affordable high quality homes for local people. We would like to thank the Newham Academy and Tessa Sanderson for making the launch event such a success".

Tessa Sanderson, CBE was also pleased with the event "I am so excited to have L&Q and Tower Homes become "Friends of The Academy" helping to support our community youngsters to better themselves through sport and to try to become possible champions of the future, by working with associations such as this we can really make a difference to local communities."
