The courses on the holiday school aim to improve students' confidence and increase their interest in learning. This programme covers activities taking place during the October school holiday break.
The Big Draw, a series of events designed to promote interest in drawing and sketching, will take place in October. Several courses offered have a drawing and art theme and will be an opportunity to participate in Big Draw events. Visit www.thebigdraw.org.uk for more information about the Big Draw.
Also, as 2008 is the Year of Reading, several of our courses have a reading theme. Visit www.yearofreading.org.uk for more information about the Year of Reading.
To participate in the Holiday School download the course guide which is available below. Read the information on how to enrol and complete the application form on page seven. Students are restricted to one course each.
Places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, so send your application forms in quickly to avoid disappointment.
We actively encourage and welcome disabled young people to apply for our courses. If parents wish to discuss their child's special needs and how we can facilitate access to the courses please phone the hotline.
