Celebrate Gambia Independence Day

Newham Council will be flying the flag of Gambia to mark it's independence day on Wednesday 18 February.

A special event to celebrate 44 years of independence for Gambia

The flag will be raised at 11am sharp outside the main entrance of Newham Town Hall, Barking Road, East Ham E6 2RP.

The ceremony should last no more than 30 minutes, and the flag will be flown throughout the day.

Guests are asked to arrive from 10.45am to assemble on the steps at the front of the Town Hall. Refreshments will be available afterwards in the Main Hall.
