In order to support the planning process for the Handball Arena and VeloPark the Olympic Delivery Authority (ODA) will be holding a public consultation period from 4 August until 15 August. As part of this consultation they will be hosting the following events:
Community Workshop on Handball Arena - 19 August 6 to 9pm Hackney Wick Community Centre
The focus of this event will be to consult those residents living closest to the Handball Arena on the designs. The event will be open to all but will focus on residents in the Hackney Wick and Fish Island areas. The event will include a presentation on the Arena which will be followed by facilitated discussions with members of the design team.
Multi-Discipline Sports Workshop - 15 August 3 to 9pm
The focus of this event will be to consult people involved in a wide range of sporting and cycling groups on the designs for the Handball Arena and VeloPark.

Newham VeloPark Community meeting - Date and location to be confirmed
The focus of this meeting will be consulting the local community on the designs for the VeloPark. The event will be open to all Host Borough residents.
VeloPark and Handball Arena Drop In Sessions at:
- Stratford Shopping Centre in Newham 4 August 11am to 3pm
- Whitechapel Market in Tower Hamlets 5 August 11am to 3pm
- Ridley Road Market in Hackney 6 August 9:30am to 3pm
- The Mall in Waltham Forest 8 August 11am to 3pm
These will be manned displays providing information to local residents on the Handball Arena and VeloPark.

Information displays will be available to view from 4-15 August at the following locations:
- Stratford Central Library
- Whitechapel Idea Store
- Hackney Central Library
- Waltham Forest - Leytonstone Library
