Residents can come along to the park on September 5 and 6 and have their say on what improvements they want to see and how the area can better provide for children under the age of 12 years.
Any ideas and opinions will influence the design of the play area and improve the park.
There will also be fun activities for all the family and free refreshments.
This year, Forest Lane Park received its ninth Green Flag award, which recognises and rewards the best parks in the country for outstanding green space management. The flag will be raised this Friday at 2.45pm.
