Friday 27 February 2009: Action Mesothelioma Day (AMD) was established in 2006 by the British Lung Foundation to ensure that patients and families have a right to good quality advice, information and treatment; to call upon the government to make research into Mesothelioma a priority and to call upon employers to ensure their workforce are protected against exposure to asbestos.
